Probably the best metroidvania game I've ever played, definitely one of the best games of the year.

PROS:
- The gameplay is challenging but fair.
- The world various, coherent and beautifully designed, with insane cure to details.
- The NPCs inhabiting the abovementioned world are diverse and unique.
- The story is simple but intriguing.
- The music, oh my god.
- The map is filled with optional areas to explore, bosses to fight and NPCs to meet.
- The amount of different enemies is simply astonishing.
- The power-up system is simple, but allows for tons of different strategies.
- There is still a free DLC about to come, and two were already released.

CONS:
- Backtracking might be annoying at times.
- Seriously, just that. Get this game and play it NOW.
