If you've played Kingmaker, this is another wonderful romp through Golarion full of QoL improvements and even more classes and archetypes to choose from. If you like Kingmaker, you'll like this, and find yourself pleasantly surprised that some of the small things that frustrated you in KM have been fixed. The DLCs have been slow to start (looking at you Inevitable Excess) but have picked up steam with every next module culminating in the Lord of Nothing conclusion to Through the Ashes.

Haven't played Kingmaker? This a densely packed CRPG that strives to tell a multifaceted story that your character decisions, achievements and failures shape. It does this well, using skill checks to gate paths, class decisions to open and close whole quest lines and companions to add weight and reinforce the humanity gained or lost by your choices.

The combat can be either real time or turn based, and can be dynamically swapped between the two, allowing for real time combat when your party can easily sweep away the opposition and then swapping into turn based when the challenge ramps up.

I have put over 1000 hours into this game, and continue to put hours in up to today. A 9/10 RPG that keeps you coming back for more.
