You never stop unlocking things. It good.

Orbital gear is really fun, especially when you get moving, and get into these crazy shootouts running and floating from planet to planet. The only time the game REALLY misteps are the tools that limit the fun of this game. Namely the mines and the phase gun.

If someone is using the phase gun it pretty much means you can't jump towards them, as it pulls you into an inescapable gravity well while they're on the corner camping and collecting free points.

Mines mean if a person stacks them up, and you try to punish them for camping, you get led into a trap that oneshots you. If they also take the homing rockets, you essentially get needled to death and it forces you to go deal with them. It's very very annoying.

The game has some really amazing potential to be tons of fun, but getting punished for being mobile and outmaneuvering someone is really really lame.
