A very charming game !
I don't have friends so I played this single-player and it was still really fun and well-balanced.

The latest update made this game a buggy mess, while also increasing the monetisation. A shame, because it was a great game up till the 1.4 update.

A short, lovely game.

It's essentially a walking simulator where you learn about the former inhabitants of a village. The character stories are wonderfully written and very emotional, topped with an excellent soundtrack and a beautifully unique art style. I really loved the melancholy atmosphere and I'm gonna be thinking about this game for a loooooong while.

Overall, I think the puzzles in the game are too easy, considering that you start playing 15x15 puzzles about halfway through and there's no noticeable difficulty increase from that point on. Most of the puzzles just have way too many squares filled in, so they're not really challenging. There's 15x20 puzzles, but only 3 of them. What I do like, however, is that there's a ton of puzzles, which is the main reason I bought the game to begin with.
The story isn't bad, but it isn't great either, so I wouldn't recommend this if you're expecting something Ace Attorney or Uchikoshi standard. It's pretty fun for what it is, though. I also like that there's a bit of freedom in choosing where to go first/whether to talk or to investigate first, etc., so the gameplay doesn't feel too railroaded, but that also means that it's possible to miss out on some puzzles and dialogue.
Overall, I give the game a 7/10 and I'm pretty happy with the purchase, considering that I bought it 50% off.
