For your Sims 3 issue, you can search google for the Sims 3 Alder Lake Patch. Since you have a Raptor Lake Intel CPU, which was launched after the Alder Lake, this will make the game run. The Alder Lake CPU's introduced a new instruction set that the Sims 3 game was never built for. EA did fix this on the EA App, but has not addressed the Steam version.
