This is a pretty short VN with some basic writing, but it has cute art and a very cute, albeit cliche ending. For the price of free and an hour of your life (which is how long it took me to find all the endings), this is quite nice.

Tunguska: The Visitation is a top down survival shooter game inspired by the STALKER series of games. For better or worse, it wears that inspiration on its sleeve. There are many areas, architectural designs, and so forth inspired quite closely from areas in STALKER, the initial rookie village you start the game in is almost a one-to-one recreation of the rookie village from Shadow of Chernobyl. This game is a one-man project, with an active developer listening to feedback and critique. Though one unfortunate consequence of this low manpower is that the game itself is quite light on content. The game features individual maps that are connected by map changers, like in STALKER, but the maps by comparison are extremely tiny. You can finish the game quite quickly if you follow the main quest normally, and there isn't a lot of side content, just a few minor side quests. The DLCs add some side content, mainly the Ravenwood DLC adding a completely distinct area with two intertwining quest lines. Which is why if you intend to buy this game, you should get it with all its DLC, which offers you a more complete experience compared to the somewhat lean base game. Some features are also oddly balanced in general, many game mechanics haven't been thought through meticulously enough to feel solid, like the balance and QoL of the crafting system. Some of the humor and writing can feel off at times too. Though as for the gameplay itself, the shooting feels good, and the classic RPG style loop of kill, loot, repeat is quite addictive here. The game leaves you hungry for more, more often than not. As a whole the game is a very rough gem, a fun game weighed down by some odd decisions and low budget, but if you enjoy the STALKER series and interesting janky games, then give this game a shot.
