Early Access Review
This is my third review for Robocraft. I wrote my first two years ago as a joke, then a review that talked about the basics of the game a few weeks ago. Despite all the changes, I was okay with the state Robocraft was in, but after the "Epic Loot" update, Robocraft will officialy go down in infamy.

You can`t just buy something from the shop now that the DAMM CURRENCY has been removed. You recieve random items so you can`t make a good bot for a good while.

Let me just sum up my review, I would recommend it in 2014, last year, even a few weeks ago, but this update has changed fates.

Well first, you can use dupe in Sandbox to spawn a building and destroy someone`s well-made creation, next, you can swing your prop around to send it flying! Now on to 1942RP: The 3rd reich in a nutshell, but more strict I guess. Deathrun: Literally Deathrun. Cinema: NO MAC USERS ALLOWED! TTT: You should know this. Murder: Kill or get killed, or just walk around then that`s it. Prop Hunt: ©opyright infringement of Hide & Seek. Jailbreak: A gamemode in which you CAN`T break out of the jail. The rest of the gamemodes I haven't discussed are up to you to play or review. Anyway: 7.5/10

"The reason I came to Steam in the first place"

Christ, it's been nearly 5 years since I downloaded this on my Mac, and a total of 9 years I've known about it and been interested in the game. I discovered the game through YouTube Poops of the Meet the Team videos (amazing), and was hysterical with the humor in both them and the base videos, but life got in the way until August of 2014, when I created my Steam account for the at-the-time-sole-purpose of playing this game. Since then I've made several friends through the game's official and community gamemodes (who've and still do treated me like real-life friends, including times when I didn't really have any), been involved in public community game events (i.e. Titanium Tank and Canteen Crusher), got and lost a few unusuals and australiums, bought a TF2 shirt from Valve's merch store, seen many G-Mod, SFM, and TF2-playing YouTubers, laughed, cried, and the list goes on.

For my own retrospect I'll recite my review from 2016:

"Team Fortress: The Sequel

A game with 9 playable classes, several gamemodes, a creative and devoted community, hats, somewhat okay matchmaking, weapons, micspam, hats, and hats!

This game has had it`s several ups and downs, but for some reason I stuck through. As of the Meet your Match update, I`m thinking the game has had a slow recovery from it`s "low points" like the EoTL update or Gun Mettle. Valve has fixed a few problems with the update like making the wait time to play casual or competitive faster, also they are working on letting you stay on a server with the same people in these gamemodes. Team Pyro won so hopefully the Pyro`s hitbox is fixed and he/she gets new items. It could have been worse, it could have been better. Here is Team Fortress 2, give it a try if you already haven`t."

TF2 has changed since, although not by much in comparison to earlier years, as Valve continues to neglect the everlasting replay/nostalgia potential of it, being a potential that could be a money tree for them. I'm not going to go on any further otherwise I'd be here all night, but I'll just say I have a research paper due a day from this review's publishing which I haven't even started, but I'd rather take my time to give you all, both old and new players, my words on what may be my favorite game of all time.
