Damn. Does it show literally nothing? Just black screen? or can you boot to the BIOS and no further? If its a desktop, open it up and make sure that all the parts are connected in tight.
Try turning your computer on and off a lot. It might magically fix, who knows?
Have you tested the computer with a different monitor? Rule out that the monitor is the problem. If you still get no image with a different monitor you know its the computer that's the problem.
If all else fails you might have to take it into a computer shop and let them take a look at it. Hopefully it's not a huge problem after all and it doesnt cost you a lot to have repaired. If I think of something else I'll send another comment. Good luck man.
