I have played the original Portal before playing this and Portal 2 was a must buy for me. And it didn't disappoint.



Likes:

- 100% player and camera control from game start to game end except for the ending scene. Zero cutscenes. This is what an ideal PC game should be. This point might seem very weird but it is a very big and important point in PC gaming.

- Not too easy, not too hard either. Lots of 'aha' moments. For those who don't know, the 'aha' moment is the defining characteristic of this game. If you don't get that feeling you can't appreciate the gameplay

- Great use of sound

- Music rhymes with gameplay.

- Great writing and entertaining story.

- Great voice acting

- Co-op doesnt feel like it was added, it was made

- Great FREE DLC. Usually free doesn't mean great. But Portal 2's DLC was surprisingly great.

- Community made maps and mods

- Can be played by all age groups

- Polished



Dislikes :

- Source Engine is getting old
