Laggy, controls are terrible

This DLC is good but its the worst of the four, ED-E is great and Ulysses is cool but I feel like I convinced out of the blue to be my friend and the dialogue face to face to him wasn't good enough for him being the only real character in the dlc, barely any side content, its pretty on the rails and there isnt much to do if you aren't getting all the achievements. On the bright side, the courier's mile area was actually a lot of fun and fight a bunch of Deathclaws was great, the choice you can make at the end is pretty cool too.

Like I said, I think its the worst of the four and the least likely I replay but you can get a lot of cool gear and if you finish this quicker than I did (I went for 100% achievements) I imagine its pacing is a lot better, I think the main problem is this DLC has absolutely no side content so every place is just fighting enemies and the combat of this game is one of the worst things about it in general.

I have a lot of mixed feelings about this DLC, more thoughts than I have about Dead Money and Old World Blues combined. This DLC is something special, its really good, better than most DLCs for games just because of the setting and characters alone, but I feel it could have been so much more.

Zion is a beautiful place with absolutely nothing to explore aside from The Survivalist's terminals, there are barely any quests, let alone side quests, most of the points on the map are absolutely nothing and most of the quests given to you aren't that good, mainly fetch quests.I think what really would have rounded out this DLC is a couple more characters from The Sorrows and Dead Horses along with making The White Legs have quests and characters too, making them an actual choice for an evil ending and just giving them more character than "The bad guys you kill" because as it stands it feels very... Anti New Vegas? That there are just bad guys and you kill them and you win. I just wish there was more to explore in Zion because its the largest DLC area but it doesnt utilize that size whatsoever.

The Characters are phenomenal however, the story, atmosphere and setting is what makes the DLC. Joshua Graham is one of the best characters in a game filled with great characters, hearing his story and how he has impacted the base game, along with some banger lines, enough to make any atheist question their beliefs of religion and the religious. Daniel is a good character too, Follows-Chalk was a good companion, I wish Waking Cloud had more to do as she feels under baked.

Arguably the best character was The Survivalist, his story is truly great, its not attached to a conventional side quest, just a terminals in various caves and a log on top of a gate, I had to look up the last location because he made no indication of where he was going to go in previous logs and I didnt feel like searching every single inch of Zion for it but his story is truly heart wrenching and realizing what he's contributed to Zion in the end was very touching, one of the best side stories in any game.

Overall, this DLC could have been one of, if not the best DLC in any game ive ever played if it utilized its space more and added a little bit of that New Vegas choice and quest magic. But what we did get was good enough to where im not losing sleep over it, definitely worth playing.

Such great characters, story, atmosphere, direction. It's so good in so many ways, it flounders a bit too, its really short and the enemy variety is not great, better than Old World Blues though. The combat gameplay is significantly more fun here than it ever has, you have to approach it in a variety of ways, you need to be careful to not set off a trap, you need to pick specific limbs on enemies, its not amazing but its combat is the most fun and engaging compared to what ive played so far (Havent play Honest Hearts or Lonesome Road). Also I have had a quite a bit of technical issues, crashing and falling through the floor, it was definitely consistent enough to make the experience worse but I dont know if it was because of the mods I installed (I doubt it, all of them are either bug fixes, QoL features or lighting changes) but I figured I should mention it. Overall, seriously great.

I dont know how I feel about this dlc, on one hand it should be base game, on the other it adds enough new content (guns) to be worth the price on sale, and you are probably buying New Vegas bundled with the dlc like I did because its only five bucks on sale.

Hilarious, cool new weapons and upgrades, the sink is the best hub ive seen in the game so far. Enemy variety is bad, robo scorpions are thoroughly unfun to fight, definitely could have improved that A LOT. Definitely a great DLC overall though, highly recommend.
