One Dreamer is absolutely amazing! The art is beautiful, especially the lighting. The story is heart-wrenching and captivating. But the thing I love the most is how the mechanics support the story! When Frank is working at his day job, he sits at a computer and modifies files, but when he's working on ProxyLife, he's exploring rich VR environments and moving between different objects to modify the code within them. He's seeing the flashbacks which compel him, and the player, to continue fixing and improving ProxyLife. The beautiful, poignant environments we explore while working on our passion project are a sharp contrast to the stark environment we code petty cash grabs in.

I play a lot of programming games, and this one is my favorite by far, because it's not a series of puzzles, it's a game that uses programming as a mechanic to beautiful effect. I love this game, it made me cry, and it's incredibly well-made. You should play it. Also, I am in the game. <3
