Deathground Review (Early Access)

Deathground is currently in Early Access and still has plenty of room for improvement and fixes. It’s quite similar to The Outlast Trials, which I would call it decent.

The game can be very fun when played with friends — being chased by dinosaurs is an exciting and tense experience. However, the most annoying part has to be the Compys in the vents. For the price of 14.79 euros, it’s acceptable but I bought it since it had a Special Promotion in sales.

The game could benefit from more developers or team members to speed up progress. The monthly updates and bug fixes are acceptable for a small and passionate team.

The T-rex is only in the Introduction. The other missions only have Utharaptors, Compy in the vents. (On Geothermal, you can see an Allosaurus but you never even encounter him, only Compy and Utharaptors you will have to watch out for.)

That being said, I honestly believe this game has a lot of potential—I hope future updates make it more exciting with new maps, side missions, and story content and of course new dinosaurs.
