Jalopy is a very relaxing game set in the year 1990 about driving a communist-built East German car through the Soviet satellite states, finding and overcoming environmental and mechanical challenges along the way.

It's a Rogue-lite, so the main goal is to get as far as you can go with the resources you have, and to try to have more resources at the start than you did last time.

The car in the game is the fictional Laika 601 Deluxe, which is heavily based on the real-world Trabant 601 Deluxe.
It's a classic East German car, and while it doesn't exactly have the best reputation, it has its share of enthusiasts who love it so. It defintely lends to the setting and the experiences in Jalopy.
If you're a classic car enthusiast - this game is for you!

I love this game a lot and have personally found quite an intimate relationship with my Laika - perhaps it'll be the same for you.
If you were thinking about trying out this game, you definitely should!
