How to use dispenser.tf (this is a link their FAQ)

N.B. Both your profile status and inventory must be set to public in your privacy settings .
Your account must also be at least 360 days old and you must own at least 10 non-free games in order to use my game bot. (respectively 180 and 10 for the TF2 bot)

Sign in
Provide trade URL
(Deposit keys)
Select items
Accept trade offer
(Accept friend request from bot)
(Accept game gift)

Step 1 (Sign in)

a) Go to https://dispenser.tf .
b) Click the sign in through steam button (it is located at the top right corner).

Step 2 (Provide your trade URL)

a) Click this link .
b) Copy your trade URL.
c) Click this link. [dispenser.tf]
d) Paste your trade URL.

Alternative A (trades system)(I no longer use this)

Step 3 (Select items)

a) Select the item you want to trade for.
1) If you selected a pool trade (blue ea.), you can click on the items you want to purchase.
2) If you selected a batch trade (orange >), you can specify the amount of batches you want to purchase.
b) Click the blue purchase button. (located at the bottom right corner of the page)

Step 4 (Accept trade offer)

a) Go to your trade offers or click the button that appears in the bottom right corner.
b) Accept the trade offer.
c) Confirm trade via email if email confirmation is enabled (enabled by default)

Alternative B (market system) (my game bot uses this system)

Step 3 (Deposit keys*)

a) Click this link [dispenser.tf] to go to the deposit page. (keys are also withdrawn from here)
b) Select the game from which to deposit keys.
c) Click on the amount of keys you wish to deposit.
d) Click on the "deposit selected items" button.
e) Accept trade offer. (See step 4 Alternative A)

Step 4 (Select items)

a) Go to https://dispenser.tf .
†) Click this link [www.tf2outpost.com] to get a list of all the games I have in stock.
b) Type in what you want to buy in the search box (make sure that key credit is selected and not bitcoin)
c) Select the game you want to buy.
d) Choose a seller you want to buy from and the amount you want to buy.
e) Click the green buy button.

Step 5 (Accept friend request from bot)

a) "Dispenser.tf Delivery" will send a friend request; accept it.

Step 6 (Accept game gift)

a) Go to your received gifts or click the button that appears in the bottom right corner.
†) If you purchased multiple copies at the same time the button will appear in the top right corner labelled "collect games". (not sure if this still happens)
†) Go to your received gifts.
b) Accept the gift. (DO NOT DECLINE THE GIFT)

If you have declined the gift you need to post on the forum to recover the gift.

* depositing TF2 keys to your shop inventory instead also works.


Method 1 (Steam client) (fewer than ~500 games or checking a single game)

1. Create a shortcut of your Steam.exe
2. Right-click the shortcut, go to Properties and then to Shortcut
3. Put -console add the end of the target line and click OK.
example: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam.exe" -console
4. Open steam through this new shortcut.
5. Go to the new console (next to your screen name)
6. Type licenses_print or licenses_for_app APPID (replace APPID with the appid of the game)

Method 2 (SteamCMD) (more than ~500 games)

1. Create a folder for SteamCMD.
2. Download SteamCMD for Windows: http://media.steampowered.com/installer/steamcmd.zip
3. Extract the contents of the zip to the folder.
4. Run steamcmd.exe
5. Type login YOURUSERNAME YOURPASSWORD
6. Type in the Steam Guard code.
8. Close SteamCMD.
7. Open Notepad.
8. Copy the following line to Notepad: YOURSTEAMCMDPATH +login YOURUSERNAME YOURPASSWORD +licenses_print +quit > licenses.txt
example: D:\steamcmd\steamcmd.exe +login name password +licenses_print +quit > licenses.txt
9. Save the file as a .bat (You can put it in the SteamCMD folder.)
10. Run the bat. (Note: you should close your steam client prior to running to bat)
11. A licenses.txt file will appear in the folder where the bat-file is located.
