This summertime, skies clear,
Lord Gaben promised of a Steam Sale near.

After hearing our pleas and cries for games,
He vowed that this one not be the same!

He got to work, crowbar in-hand,
And worked night and day to make sure this one not be bland!

Long hours spent, forging his creation-
He could feel a wonderful sensation!

With Robin and Valve at his side,
They were all certainly in for a ride!

After seven days and seven nights, his final product was done-
'Could it be', he asked, "is this the one?"

Spending his time further, traversing the land,
Crowbar still remaining in-hand-

Lord Gaben had found the true glory of it all-
He had decided; "No price is too small!"

Gaben announced, with his time done and head clear,
"Come, my children!" Gaben said, "Come near! The dawn of the Steam Sale is near!"

And one by one, they readied their wallets and credit cards-
"Now," he said, "Let's rip these prices to shards!"

Move onward 10 years, now Valve turns the gears
To my masterful peers, I rend you three cheers
I hope through all this you haven't yet lost me,
for the time to write it was worth it yet costly
Game on my friends, and give me your dollars
lest the jimmies rustle softly beneath your collars...
