ok so xcom enemy unkown on classic difficulty elite mutons have like 3 damage reduction and with a shotgun at point blank range the highest to hit i could get was a 65% and i missed. 3 of them took out all 6 of my maxed out guys i killed one of them and took the others to half health also just before that a giant mech alien spawned right in front of my guys out of thin air.
