Soooo fun to play with friends :)

I've been using ShareX for a few years before its Steam release. It's easily the best software for quickly capturing and uploading screenshots/videos/GIFs, uploading text, or uploading any other file. You can even mark up an image before sending. I use it all the time for IT assistance, quickly snapping information for later, or just about everything else. It also have other nice tools such as a QR code creator, hash checker, color picker, just about anything you could ever need.

The program is very customizable: you can set hotkeys for any of the functions or tools in the program, set upload locations, and everything else in the program. I have over a dozen hotkeys set with the program, making all these functions just a keystroke away.

Lastly, the program is completely free and open source. No premium versions or malware, just an open source program supported by the community. I would recommend this program to anyone; you'll find yourself using these tools all the time and wonder how you ever got along without it. However, I would likely recommend getting the non-steam version as to not annoy your friends with notifications.
