On-rail shooters are a rare treat calling back to the old days of the video arcade. With its flawless hitbox detection, Mad Bullets captures that arcade spirit perfectly, offering randomised play, multiple modes, power-ups & scaling difficulty based on your progression. There is not a lot of content, but does offer strong replayability, intense gunplay & a range of high-scores/achievements to chase.

✔️ Hitbox detection is flawless & super responsive.
✔️ Scaling difficulty with easy start, but ramping up the longer you last. Gets intense!
✔️ Multiple modes to test your skills plus a range of varied challenge goals to mix things up.
✔️ Sharp, gorgeous cartoony graphics with great destruction effects & smooth camera transition.
✔️ Arcade-y tunes & crisp sound effects fit the western aesthetic perfectly.
✔️ Permanent unlocks add further replayablity/progression.
✔️ Love the Bighead mode (also the other power-ups/modifiers).

❌ Although there is multiple paths per zone & randomisation, you will replay each zone A LOT!
❌ Ultrawide screen resolutions do not scale properly (top/bottom cut off). Best in 4:3.
❌ Practically zero in-game options. You can only set resolution/fullscreen and turn off music/sound.
❌ Cannot lock mouse to window when playing in windowed mode (at least it pauses if click outside).
❌ Volume is very loud by default?
❌ Not available on the Australian Steam Store (AUD). Only via Key resellers :(
