Don't bother with paid Ebooks that promise to teach you how to trade, it is all common sense and the Ebooks are a scam.

1. Go for small profits each trade, depending on the price of your item. More expensive item > Bigger profit. Nobody is going to give you a 20 euro profit when your item is only worth 30 euro. Be realistic.

2. Try to avoid battle-scarred and well worn items, especially knives. They are expensive because they are more rare than field tested knives, but nobody wants a BS or WW knife so they become a pain to trade. The only people who want these knives are people who are trying to trade up, looking for profit, so it defeats YOUR goal.

3. Avoid low and medium tier Stattrak knives. They are a pain in the ass to trade and nobody wants them. I would only go for FN Slaughters, Fades, Crimson Webs etc. Getting a Safari Mesh Well Worn Bayonet Stattrak is a joke and practically suicide.

Downgrading = Getting more items than what you are giving, you should be expecting a slightly bigger overpay here, depending how many items you are recieving.

Upgrade = Giving more items than what you are getting. You should be expecting to get none/small profit, if not slight overpay on these.

Betting Skins = These are skins that are usually maxbets on Csgolounge(60 dollars) Skins such as AWP Asiimovs. Full current list can be found Here These change often. AK Redlines and AWP Redlines FT are also mostly considered a betting skin due to their cost and demand.

B/O = Often confused with Best Offer, this is wrong. B/O stands for Buy Out and basically means, if you offer that much/that item, the owner of the trade will automatically accept.

C/O C/O = Closest Offer. The closest offer to the current B/O that is currently offered. Many people fake these so that people offer more.
