I've been playing Dwarf Fortress in various iterations since 2010 so grabbing the Steam release was inevitable. The revamped controls and beautiful pixel graphics are a lovely finish on the surface of an incredibly deep story generator. Dwarf Fortress is the sort of game you find yourself thinking about in your spare time without even realizing it, and I'm looking forward to playing it for decades to come.

P.S. so far, using just default wasd + mouse controls, it works wonderfully on steam deck. Looking forward to folks making even better custom control schemes!
