Little by little, you will start building and getting new pieces. You'll venture far beyond your current base and establish a new one. This is good. This is normal.

Then the game tells you "Don't destroy existing factories". I warn you, you should listen.

But you won't. No you won't.

You won't because at some point you'll return to those old factories that produce simple pieces. You'll see how horrible they are, how fastidiously under-optimized they are. You'll see that your past self, while having good intentions, was also a moron who didn't know anything. You'll see a single factory bogged down by ONE painter or cutter that's overfed.

You'll tweak here and there. Use the new toys, improve on your extraction techniques, pack these two buildings with better efficiency. In the middle of it, you'll start thinking about adding a new feature to it because why not, it's already running at close to 100% capacity.

A few sleepless nights later, it will be finished. And you will then wonder how is that other base doing.

The cycle starts anew.
