They straight up cribbed many mechanics from Humankind, which I like a lot less than Civ VI. Graphics are less impressive than VI. Religion seems like a mess, only relevant in one age? Not clear why you'd build some of the later buildings. Commander combat is messy, tedious, and unsatisfying.
