I played Superfighters, the flash game, when I was pretty young--I played it for hours with my friends. That game captured an epic James Bond, cheesy-action-movie sort of vibe like no other game did. A year ago or so, I remembered that game and looked it up, only to find the same creators are hard at work making it into a full game!

Superfighters Deluxe captures that same hilarity of the original while being a legitimately competitive game, fun to watch and to play. Right now there's a quaint, dedicated community of players who all are nice from my experience. This is a true classic which seems to be somehow under the radar.

edit: This game also uses Steam Workshop which is pretty cool.

It's very clear what kind of experience you'll have in The Witch's House even as you step through the very front door--it's a simple concept for a horror game. But what's really amazing is that it never seems to run out of steam; it's scary and unpredictable to the very end, never missing a beat. I'd say I wish the game was longer, but the creator was smart not to let it overstay its welcome. I'll remember it for that reason.

In my experience so far, Frozen Synapse 2 is very, VERY deep but surprisingly not too hard to grasp, once you get the hang of it. In the first day of playing it I've already had a load of fun and highly reccommend for anyone who likes strategy at all. The new modes are an awesome twist, especially "OneTurn." (It's hard to explain but it makes perfect sense once you try it.)

Currently there are issues with crashing, screen resolution and some graphical errors with the flamethrower, but none of that has ruined my experience, and it's all sure to be fixed.

It's very short. It has charm and a cool soundtrack. My main issue is that I felt cheated out of the main premise that I was promised. If you think this is a "time loop" game, it's not.
Some things don't reset when you die (arbitrarily), and you can change your spawn point.
What's cool about a game where you die every minute is that the designer would have to find creative ways to allow the player to progress--shortcuts, hidden mechanics and areas, and increasing skill could all help the player go faster and farther. But instead there's these terrible compromises to the game's main premise which just turn it into a nuisance, and it becomes a very average, normal game. Maybe if the main gimmick wasn't what I came in expecting, I would be fine with that! But now I just feel disappointment whenever I remember this game.

Probably not quite worth 5 dollars for the amount of polish, but this game is pretty fun. It took me wayyy too long to realize how the name "Receiver" relates to the game's weird gun controls.

Years after playing this, I can still safely say it has some of the best platformer puzzling I've seen in a game. It's strange, unique, beautiful, challenging, and unpredictable.

I have so, so many cherished memories with this game. This will certainly be one of my favorite videogames forever.

You should DEFINITELY experience this game with friends. It's a must.

This is such a lovely little game. I was surprised that it was able to entertain me for such a surprisngly long time (2 hours) on mostly a single scene.

This game speaks about the reason for existing, life/death, and remembering to slow down and take your time; to enjoy the world while you're alive instead of constantly worrying about death.

(edit :) I nominated it for the "The World Is Grim Enough Let's Just All Get Along" award.

I've never seen a game which can be constantly so heavy and dark, while somehow being so full of child-like awe and surrealism at the same time. This game did it SO well.

And on top of having an amazing story, this game did certain things with the medium of videogames that no other medium can do, so it is far from being a "walking simulator" in my eyes. It also has an awesome soundtrack and it looks beautiful.

(It is 2-3 hours long, which is pretty good. And it felt a lot longer then that to me when i played it.)
