Game was ruined by 4.0 update.

Arrowhead fixed this game, so I fixed my review.

Has a game breaking bug that makes the game feel like it's running sub 60 fps even though the frame counter is 120+
If you get into the weeds with this issue you'll find it extremely odd. When you get into a turret you'll find the game feels like it should and matches your frame rate, but if you just walk around and look around it feels absolutely awful. Also it seems like some objects are uncapped like UI elements or some ships in the background. Never seen a game have such a weird issue before. I'll change this review when / if the issue is fixed. If it isn't fixed within two weeks you'll see I've refunded it on this post and I'll check back in next year.

Story is basic, but is dressed up to be somewhat nonsensical.
Graphics are extremely good.
Music is ochestrated epic whimsy fair. It is fitting.

Gameplay is where it really shines, it starts off a bit slow, but after you the first 2 power ups, you understand why everyone is raving about this game. It's fast, responsive, and fun.

According to my finished game stats, it took me almost exactly 7 hours to beat. I did stop to collect everything right before the final boss, but found out it's impossible to backtrack into the previous dungeons. I had already made significant progress before finding that out, so I decided just to beat the game at that point.

I keep seeing people say the game is hard, I wouldn't go that far, but it is challenging.
