Listen. This game is chaotic cheesy, lactosy glory.

I love this game. I like that there is no set plot development based on elapsed time, nothing that you can miss, and that the way the game is plotted out is balanced. This is perfect for my anxiety, which has prevented me from enjoying Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon. Stardew Valley though is the perfect balance. There is no racing the clock to complete everything you need. Everything happens in your time, and if you miss something or want to come back and complete it later, you can and do. It's not free to do so, and the game is balanced to be comforting and relaxing. A casual classic!
