CS:GO Review
I have started playing Counter Strike since 2004, and I purchased this game in 2014. I have played it for quite a long time, I have experienced a lot, and I think I can give an honest opinion about this game.

Is it good? Is it worth buying? Absolutely yes.

I bought the game because it was a great continuation to the series I liked very much. CS:GO provides a fresh, new experience, and it is constantly updated with new things even to this day. The best feature is the matchmaking system, which is not perfect, but provides a better experience, compared to older installations, which required you to play on 3rd party servers with random people.

If you are new to this game, don't worry. Everyone had to start from the very bottom and learn a lot to become a good player. Unlike other multiplayer games, it requires a lot of dedication and skill to become a good player. This game requires you to think a lot, it relies mostly on teamwork and strategies. Here, every piece of information will make a great impact on the round. The community may not like new players, so the best way to learn, is by playing with bots, community servers and casual, before going into matchmaking mode.

There's an experience system in-game, which gives you XP based on your performance. It gives you XP even on lost games, and on non-competitive matches. Every week by going up a level, you get a free item. Reaching level 3 unlocks the matchmaking system.

It has an item system, which does not make any adjustments to the gameplay, and it only alters the visual appearance of the weapon. There are even external gambling websites, where you can win more skins, or lose them. Every item costs real money, so you can earn money by playing CS:GO. It's money that's locked into steam, but you can use it to buy any game or item here. Some people say the game is ruined because of people caring less about the game, but I think there are still people that care about their skill.

Of course there are Russians, kids, and Russian kids, but no multiplayer game exists without trolls and children. Every player has played with at least one of them and struggled to win. The matchmaking system had a big adjustment recently, making it more fair and fun to play. In the higher ranks you'll see less trolls, you'll just have to deal with them.

To sum it all up: it's a game worth buying. You'll need to learn a lot to play it, but when you do, you'll have a lot of fun.
