I appreciate the time and effort you've spent writing this mini review for me. It has definitely helped me decide, I decided to pick 2014 up because it was so cheap on G2A & I will also be picking up 2018 in the near future. You have the same taste in games as myself i'd assume as I also find something about 2015 so relaxing, especially doing a full restoration on a rusted old car, i'm yet to even work on every car the base game has to offer and then I have to do all DLC cars! Again, thanks for taking the time to respond, Much appreciated :)

What more could I tell you about? Yeah, maybe this: do you know "No Man's Sky"? The game from 2016 literally everybody was hating? It was a mess when it came out, basically an empty universe. You know what? I've spend a hundred hours on it, before they started adding some more content. I was walking over dusty and barren planets, frozen ones, water worlds, just climbing on a mountain to enjoy the view. OK, getting my environ protection shields to 100% every now and then... ;-) But this was a similar experience as with CMS: it is somehow about "experiencing yourself". You and the cars. You and the planets. Learning, getting better, in your very own pace. It reminded me so much, that I had to buy it on Steam again, yesterday (pre-ordered it on GOG back then, if you ask).

That's quite like a review, heh? ;-) Have fun, whatever you play.

And: what makes it so addicting...? Hmmm, like I wrote, if I'd >really< knew, I would have told it in the review. ;-) I like the non-competition aspect a lot. I somehow feel as if I'd be a... sculptor working on a sculpture. Having all the time in the world. It feels like... some sort of meditation. The monotonous "rrrrrk rrrrrk rrrrrk" of the wrench, repeating the assembling and disassembling steps that I could also do with eyes closed, etc. is simply relaxing me.

Hi Moon, regarding your question on CMS2014: I played it for some time and was already thinking about what to write in a review (which will definitely follow). It's... OK, but when compared to CMS2015 it feels like - to me - like driving with handbrake on. I just don't get into the game well and I'd even give it a negative rating - not because it's a bad game, but when you come from CMS2015, it is very different indeed. Too much for my taste and personally I'd not recommend going for it.

It you're interested anyways, maybe have a look at some Let's Plays before, but I'm more looking forward to CMS2018 (which is still a bit pricy though ). [tbc - had to split my comment due to length limitation >.< ]
