As someone who played this game an unhealthy amount in my childhood, I can safely say FireFly have done a great job with this remaster.

I have come across a number of bugs but they seem to be being addressed with regular patches. It would also appear that they are listening to community feedback with is always a great sign.

The original campaign was a joy to play through but I do feel like the new instalment lacks polish and, at times, feels like something a player might build in map editor. With large groups of the same unit plopped at random points in the map, and a progressive narrative within the mission sorely missing.
The other modes contained are also very fun, these of course being bought over from the original, with a few community made maps included.

Overall though I would definitely recommend this game, especially at such a reasonable price. Any discount and you would be laughing.
