very tight platformer akin to Celeste. You dash in 8 directions to either land on platforms, or kill enemies. The core mechanics work well but may be a bit floaty, and the game is very charming. Soundtrack is decent. I didn't like the directions chosen for the diagonal movement, though. They feel too weak, and hardly make a difference over just dashing in the cardinal direction. a 45-degree angle might have worked better, I feel. The level designs seem to be built around the chosen diagonals, though, so it's not as jarring during play. Definitely worth the price point.

Interesting Full-Motion Video game that tells its story through the environment, and solutions are discovered organically. A few puzzles were too out there for me to the point I needed a walkthrough, but still had a lot of "a-ha!" moments with it. To anyone playing: don't use the zip mode until you get through a good bit of the game, and use the escape key to skip scenes you've seen already.
