Game only saves at checkpoints, you can easily loose 30+ min of in-game progress. Effectively you need to shape your time schedule and activities around the game. Makes no sense - bad game design. Can't recommend mainly due to this.

Exploration vibe is ok, NPC chat way to much and quite annoying, claptrap level of blabbering.

Game is bare-bone city builder similar to Settlers or Anno. Around 25 buildings, short production chains. Maps are small and there is no research or buildings combo, but you can upgrade building with an items to boost its production etc. The main gimmick is that besides surface level you have few layers of mines with resource veins and some loot. And mines is the place where you will spend 80% of your time as grinding trough tunnels and slaying mobs is main source of progression block. Didn't like it much as it effectively removes town tinkering and solving citizen issues, no much to do here but simply slap few buildings and return to mines to dig towards end-goal. UI is kind on bad side as well. I see no reason why would anyone play this game over Anno besides the lower price.

Probably one of the worst crafting/building game I've ever played. Super boring progression, idiotic idea to lock buildings behind blueprints scattered across the world (missed small item in the bushes? no building for you).
Dumb science implementation. Cringe logistic and base organization elements. I can't recall at least on game system which was done in a way you can enjoy. The only good part - big inventory. Mu only recommendations is to fire game designer and spent few years remaking the core mechanics and than re-launch.

I like point & click and really want to support devs in their endeavors to make such a game, so I would not refund.
The genre requires very strong strong story and characters to tie up a set of silly puzzles into coherent game. Here we have a generic story with annoying characters and clunky controls. Dialogs a borderline infuriating as they constantly interrupt you movements and actions and you need to mash a button to skip them (zero quality in them so you you really want to do it). Very few intractable points, no much to click on (I mean cmon, the genre), weak narrative, whiny protagonist..
Sad, but with Deadalic switching to LoTR no much hope left in p&c department.

A bit basic but cute craft sim with some zombie story on top of it. Survival elements are minimal:
you have food & drink & sleep meters but resources are never an issue. Core idea had some potential - you build your own world by adding patches of the ground around starting area. But in the doesnt provide any kind of depth or replayability to the game. Could be a fun and chill play for progression but a lot of gameplay elements are not done well or borderline broken.

1. Game gives you ability to build a house with a lot declarative elements but you cant move objects around - only place or destroy with a material loss. Clear design contradiction. Game doesnt put pressure on you in terms of resources but they still opted to ruin design your house part of the game for no particular reason

2. Combat is not even alpha level. Very clunky, unresponsive and with buggy animations

3. Progression is gated behind workbench upgrades and quests. You can refuse to take a quest and never progress. Dialog options and choices exist for no reason and play no role.

4. Progression system is badly designed. Items unlocked at stages where you can't use them. Area which gives you access to resource X requires the same resource to unlock itslef. So you stack with slow grind of one singular patch of the ground. Resource respawn system is broken and some resources are only restored upon game restart.

5. Plenty of small technical bugs but nothing serious

For me indie games can struggle with technical realization but game-design department should be super solid. This one has glaring problems with general flow. Its not bad but fails to be actually good.

The main issue with the game - it is very bland. It takes core ideas which expected to be in cool space combat type of the game and implements very basic version of it.

You have an itch for space exploration? Well, we have it but its very dull and full of repetitive puzzles with minimal rewards. Same events spawns non-stop, same fetch quests. And by the same I mean like 5 types.

Combat? Sure. But we have like 10 ships and weapons. Barely any customization and tinkering. To spice up the combat and make it less "hold the left button" we have an active abilities. Sadly they look completely unfun, had limited appeal to a lot of play-styles, very situational and there is like 10 of them (I had 7 unspent skill points from the 7 available for the first time in my 15+ years of gaming life).

Story? Its here. Mining and Trading? Implemented but there is no actual specialization and fun to do it. Factions or dynamic world? Nope.

Nothing in this game is done past bare minimum, most of the features exists purely as checkmarks.
The whole game-play loop is based around treadmill progression systems where you replace level 11 weapon with level 13 and complete challenges.

Maybe after like 6-7 major updates it will be less chore to play. Remember how cyberpunk 2077 felt outside of the main story upon release? Thats everspace 2 minus T-posing bugs.

If you ever wondered how rogue-like settlement builder would look like - dwell no future.

You play a series of short maps, each has randomly generated set of goals to complete before timer runs out.
Most of them is to produce X amount of some kind of good or deal with events. Map has randomly generated resource nodes and you can chop trough wood towards a new one to discover more.

You start with limited set of buildings and can unlock a new one by spending "favor" resource you receive by completing youtr task. One task = 1 favor to select 1 new building blueprint from 3 options. On paper it looks good but you can easily run into a situation where you cant complete task due to lack of resource nodes or buildings to produce it. Which leads us to a point where you need to memorize all resource production chains (including a fact that leather is made from grass and similar non-intuitive staff) and all buildings abilities to make a correct choice of task acceptance and reward selection.

And that's it. Game plays like late stage of CIv games where goal is super clear but you still need to make a lot of micromanagement clicks to make it happen and before any in game choice you need to triple check your buildings and map to avoid locking yourself out of progress. Also all buildings look very similar so you will click a lot to find the one you are looking for.

Game has progression system where you unlock new perks buildings etc, some make game easier some provide more variety. Overall it plays fine, but when I look for rng based combo making type of gameplay I go for card games where core loop is focused on correct card selection and play-order. I was curious how it will work in colony management type of game and I didn't like it much. It feels slow and obtuse and lack QOLs card-game has (informative tool-tips, ability to correct you deck to adapt better etc).

Interesting mix of genres, props to dev for experimenting, game didn't click with me but worth checking out if you are not looking for standard build sims. One map plays for 30 min or less.

As market/trading sim game is descent, but diplomacy and war parts are buggy, cont-intuitive and very limited. I would suggest to wait till proper mods release to fix gameplay. Perfomance degrade severely in the late game and patches break your economy to the point where you will be forced to restart.
