I thought that the beginning of the story really does hook you and the mid game it does slow down with a lot of side content. The ending of the game is absolutely amazing, you can see how all of your decisions from the main missions and from the side quests matter/impact your story.

I like the combat as a whole and the different variations of your classes you can make. What i didn't care for is that every time you want to respec you will have to unspec each point one at a time and you can't save a preset of your class specialization to switch over to. I played as a warrior class and speced into the slayer specialization that is more tailored to 2-handed combat then mid game to late game I respeced into the sword and shield specialization then back to the slayer and was discouraged from doing it again because it would take a lot of time to do.

Now the main problem I had with this game is the audio idk what it was but I kept having audio tearing or it would cut in and out for some dialogue and background noise like rain. I would have to turn my camera to the left or the right to be able to hear properly for some conversations when traversing, if my companions were behind me I couldn't hear them until I turned my camera. I tried playing the game with both my speakers and headset for audio.

The character creator was amazing as well, from the hair, skin tone, tattoos and facial features. You can design your character to look or be however you want which is so good FOR EVERYONE. Your companions are all interesting and have their owns stories. Taash the "woke" character, I didn't have a problem with her until her mom was trying to talk so she can understand her more and Taash gets angry and yells at her instead of being able to just communicate her thoughts/feelings. At the same time i understand that it makes her different in her own sense.

All in all i think this game is worth your time and money. It is solid all around I would rate it a 8/10 FOR ME.
