Voice over at the start was a little bit weak (but it's a very small part of the game)
Not a fan of discord popups in game but I also acknowledge you want to start a community around the game

It's a solid game, worth the money on launch for sure, especially if you like deck building games like Balatro. It has a great look and design to it and I think I'll get quite a few hours out of the gameplay.

Pros :
-Fun blowing stuff up
-Co-op madness
-Some cool weapons and enemies
-Some witty one liners and funny characters

Cons :
-The main killer of this game for me : Performance. I rock a 1080ti Seahawk powering a 34" 1440p Ultrawide and NO game, has come even CLOSE to the lack-luster performance that this game had. I was getting between 30-60 frames. It dropped frames so much, I could count them as they went past me. I was definitely relieved when it finished rather than satisfied. I also couldn't stream AND play the game or my machine would start to chug which was a bit disappointing.
-A couple of glitches where the game got stuck in certain parts and caused us to restart the level

Final thoughts :
I think if the game was AU$20-30, it would be worth it, the way it runs at the moment, I can't recommend it at full price for anyone with a similar rig.

Edit : I realise the graphics card isn't the only factor when calculating if this game will run for you so other system specs :

You want a game where anything above the lowest skill level makes you hate your lack of coordination while a virtual opponent mocks you without saying a word every time you reset the game after missing a shot you "won't miss next time" to the point that you go into a death spiral of self hatred and maniacal laughter despite being pretty sure anyone you showed this to would be able to beat it on their first go? Get this! This is what I imagine it would be like to go to an arcade with a friend... 😭. It's addictive and I almost feel like that Donnie Darko character you vs actually thinks they've got better things to do that wait for you to serve. I love it.

Ever see the movie Cube and think.. "I wish I was in a position where I had to find my way out of a maze where almost everything can kill me" but you only have a few dollars so can't fund such an experiment in real life? This game delivers. Awesome fun and had some genuine lols playing with a friend. That's right guys, a real life friend. I'm moving up in the world. Seriously though if you have a friend prone to forgetting basic tasks quickly, this game is a riot.

Look, have you ever wanted to know what it feels like to be Michael Jordan in his prime, but you're a neckbeard living in your parents basement with the fitness level of a sloth? Or have you ever wanted to feel like one of those trick shot guys without wanting to edit highlight videos all day? Then this game is for you. I straight up played this game for so long I couldn't lift my arms. I'm writing this review with my nose! The game is fun, simple and challenging enough to make you cry while starting again to break your last score. Definitely worth the money. Cabbages being launched through the air hasn't been this good since Avatar: The Last Airbender. MY CABBAGESSSS!

This game is one of the most punishing games I have ever played. It's what I imagine groundhog day would be like if you (Spoiler Alert) didn't have the options of sleeping with Andie McDowell or Punching Stephen Tobolowsky in the face. It leaves you longing for death like when Bill Murray drove off the cliff with Punxsutawney Phil in the car.
