This game does not fold to people who spend a ton of money on it and try to control the community. The Devs have and will bi**h salp your efforts regardless of how many friends and trolls you have in your army.

Ask Redit... they've done it before... and it was one of the heaviest smack downs ever handed out on a video game.

You don't have to spend more than the original $40 if you dont want to. Most everything in this game can be obtained by way of game play. There are very few things int he game that require payment... specifically like one or two things. and they don't give anyone a huge advantage over other players.

Arrowhead is trying to build a community of co-operative gamers that enjoy positivity and want to avoid toxic gaming. And despite that there are still people trying to attack this game and the community.

Why?

This game gives you freedom to play how you want. It has multiple weapons across multiple enemy factions. you can play solo or have up to 4 players on a team. Friendly fire is expected... its part of the fun... but you will be punished for it by losing respawn stock so don't get to happy with the gun play.

the game is for general gaming enthusiest and above. Casual gamers will find it difficult to get into this game as it does not hold your hand or pull punches at all. the easiest difficulty can still ruin you if you are looking for a super chill game play loop. It does not exist here. This game is fun... but it is not going to be a walk ing the park.

most player are pretty chill but we do expect you to at least know what you are doing and make an effort. If yo mess up no big deal. Sometime the game is out for your soul... it happenes to us all.

You will die often. Many deaths will feel unfair. The game doesn't care... but the community does

This game is about galactic war and we are all on the same team.

I DO NOT SUGGEST YOU GET THIS GAME. The gameplay is rather subpar but functional. If you are a megaman fan this game will feel rather child like in its difficulty but... specifically for the bosses. You can still lose but mainly due to the fact they do heavy amount of dmg when you actually do get hit. I have been two shot at full health. When fighting the red Octoboss for the first time... that was before I got an upgrade. At which point I got hit 3 times and lost.

So far the thing really annoys me is the control scheme on the key board and the fact you don't keep the healing items you get from the stage when you get to the boss battles. [correction] The game fluctuates on when you keep your healing items. I have had it happen for one or 2 boss where my healing items just... don't come with me as if the character eats the candy during the loading screen. other times she keeps them and I am still trying to understand why.

Because of that I failed a boss fight multiple times because i had no healing items even though I should have had some left over by the end of the stage.

Some of the audio files messed up during the stage where you have to use a flash light. Enemy death sounds, landed sound effects where incorrect and got change to dialog from a cut scene. This proceeded to happen over and over.

All in all there are multiple inconsistencies in the games functionality. I do not suggest anyone purchase this as it is because it become very annoying dealing with the incorrect sound playing and having to rewatch boss animations when you fail [yes I have the patch and yes EVERYTIME YOU LOSE THE ANIMATION PLAYS FROM THE BEGINNING AND YOU CANNOT SKIP IT]

10.9 hours andpretty much all of that is louding screen.

I have no idea why this thing won't work, I just know that is I hit esc at anytime during the loading screen it closes with no issue. =/

This is by far... one of my FAVORITE multipler FPS titles.

But before I get into everything i like about the game thee is one GLARING ISSUE THEY NED TO FIX.

WHY AM YOU USING THE ANTI-CHEAT FROM EPIC GAMES STORE ON STEAM?

I began having problem with it about a month and a half ago and I was tryig my best to figure out how to fix the issue on my own. [yes i speant over 40 days trying to figure out what was wrong and fix it]

I was getting horrible lag spikes that would happen randomly. I realize it happened the most when steam was open or I had my browser open. Later on I realized IF I TURN OFF MY WI-FI IN THE MIDDLE OF A SPIKE >>> THE LAGG SPIKE GOES AWAY<<<

WHAT... THE... ♥♥♥♥...

That means Something is sending a TON OF INFORMATION TO/FROM MY COMPUTER DURING THESE SPIKES.

I tried anti-virus, I tried removing permissions [And it worked for like one day until i reset my computer and couldn't figure out what permissions I had to removed that fixed the issue] I got sick of it one daya nd tried playing the game and it would not lauch... because anti-cheat... was not downloaded... EVEN THOUGH IT WAS!

After looking up info checking web sites and driving myself crazy a frined contacted me and convienced me to reset my system. [Me and him went and got out CCNA Certifications together many years ago... guy is a megamind... luv this dude brother from another mother for life.]

He sent me some new ram and an i7 core to upgrade my computer [] I reset my system and added the ram. Downloaded steam and EVERYTHING was working fine...

UNTIL I DOWNLOADED STARTSHIP TROOPERS...

iT WOULDN'T LAUNCH

100% CLEAN SYSTEM... GAME WON'T LAUNCH.. SAME ISSUE. That is wheni went to started checking info on the anti cheat IN DEPTH.

Its an EpicGames anti cheat... so I was like "this crap wasn't an issue before why is it now?" So I went and downloaded the Epicgame store thinking maybe there was something that was needed from there to make it work properly.

I admit... this was stupid... but I wanted to play this game and I wanted to figure out why i was having issues.

HELLO LAGG SPIKES! AS SOON AS THE DAMN THING FINISHED DOWNLOADING!

My computer was fffffiiiinnnneeee until i downloaded Epic again.

I don't know what you guys need to do to fix this but pleeeassseee... please... if this helps use it. I am not a computer Wiz like my friend is. I didn't continue as a CCNA mainly because I didn't have the money for a formal education and I love art more than computer science. Out side of this glaringly bad issue... your game top notch. whatever you have to do to seperate yourselves from the EpicGames issue DO IT! I have no idea why I am having this trouble and other people an my friend list are just playing the game like it no big deal.

I deleted EpicGame Store and the lagg spike have died down consideribly... but I cannot lose another day reseting my computer. I have too much to take care of and no money to do so.

Things I like about this game.
1. It's not Pvp

Everyone wants to kill each other in games. Wtf? I am sick of it. The fact we have the ability to make decent co-op multiplayer games AND WON'T... bothers me. But With this game you finally get to play with other folk instead of against them and it still very difficult with the mutations and the different game modes.

2. Very much like the movie.

The Original movie. All the other stuff can bite me ( though we did have some decent spin offs) The only thing you don't get is over the top body part blood and gore for humans and bug blood spray.

3. Multiple classes

3 different play style each with multiple weapons to use. I personally don't think the Heavy should have the SMG at all but... I can understand that until you get your heavy machine gun you need a better defensive weapon. Than the starting AR.

4. Buildable bases

Someone complained that this made the game like Forte Night. That person is a child. These walls don';t build themselves for one and you won't be getting a serrated claw jammed in your eye socket if you fail to build one.

5. Enemy Variety

Drones are no big deal... but one warrior bug can and will massacre you. On Normal difficulty and above you can basically empty a full clip into it and >>>IF<<< it does die... the other 4 warrior bugs that came with it will gladly eviserate you in its place. And this is assuming you aren't punctured to death by a gunner bug or blow up by a grenadier bug first while while on a wall. If you are seriously unlucky you get one shot by a tiger while on top of those protective walls because yes... they are big enough to reach you. o.o

You can run from things that shoot at you though.
But Drones, Warriors, and Tigers...
You can't... out run... ANY... OF THEM. And they always show up in packs. =/

FINAL VERDICT

THIS GAME IS AMAZING... SIMPLY PHENOMENAL!

But... the garbage with the Epic Anti-cheat is going to ruin it if they don't fix it. I am tempted to reset my system again but I really don;t want to if I do not have to. This and Aliens: Fireteam Elite. Are my fav shooters right now. Fireteam won;t let me join other players and this game won't even launch. o.o

1st off... if you are new the game you can start fine here... but your ability to link to hoyoverse will be more difficult. If you can find a more direct way to play this game... do that. IF steam is the option you pick than you will have to deal with the negatives that come with it.
One of the issues with using steam is that they make it seem like you are benefiting from having everything together on one program when it just as easy to point and click the icon from a direct download and will require less space cause you don't need to have a program to run a program. And don't be fooled by the idea you don't need to have the launcher for the game... plenty of games on steam still require their own launchers to work... making you use a program to launch a program to launch your game. It a bunch of useless run around... if you can get the original do that.

Hoyoverse wants your money... but they aren't forcing you to spend it. [Get pissed at me if you want you know its true you just want to complain] Showing you a cool character doesn't force you to buy it. You make that choice. Game content is free... but limited time offer are literally just that. So stop acting like your life is gonna take a turn for the worst if you don't get grown up Bronya the first time she shows up. Children act like that. The only thing you MUST spend on this game is time. And if you feel like time is money and you would rather spend you "Money" somewhere else than do it. No one is stopping you. You want to play the game than play it.. I am sick of seeing people complain that they have to actually sacrifice a little bit of anything to actually get something they want.

Sacrifice comes with everything so shut up or leave.

Hoyoverse provides you with the tools you need to progress through the game FOR FREE. You don't have to spend a penny to get anything that is required to play from beginning to end. They have done it with this game and they are doing it with Genshin as well as Star Rail. More effort will be needed so that you can complete objectives but overall you are given the ability play through everything that is truly needed to complete the story.

Call me a fan boy or some other childish name if it makes you feel better but facts are facts. The gimmick of Gacha games is to wave something shiny in front of your face to make you FEEL like you must have it to progress. A decent Gacha game will still allow you to progress in the story... you will just have to work harder for it. With the flood of games pouring out over the world gamer assume they won't have time for everything... when they don't need to have time for everything anyway. Spend money to support what you like the most and rent everything else you slightly care about. If you don't care don't buy. Easier said than done but it you do as has been said your life will be easier.

Honkai Impact is a great game that has been out for a long time and is only recently getting the shine it deserves.

The story is complicated... so most of you lazy rats will never take the time needed to burn a brain cell on it. So lets summorize and then focus on the combat.

STORY START
Teenage clone fights monster to save the world.
STORY END

Wanna know more... go play the game.

COMBAT
Push button. Defeat monster.

Enemy is attacking. Push other button. Time it right and you get a special dodge.

Enemy is not taking enough dmg, push other button and switch to someone who can do more dmg.

Repeat process.

Simple explinations for simple people. most of you just want see stuff explode and watch big numbers appear on your screen anyway so that combat explination should be fine.

Final Summary.

F**k you. If you are annoyed i censored it than mission accomplished.

The combat is great, the story is complicated, and the females are sexy and/or bad ass. There is a section where you play as a male character as well.... but you gotta actually play some of the game before you get there. Go cry about it. Considering this game is made by people who watched animated like pokemon where they have a man showing off that he has bigger boobs that a teenage girl... your expectations of what is in this game should be apparent. Stop acting like you came here blind... you saw the *itties on the cinematic. And if you came here because of Genshin you already know Lisa and Noelle have jiggle physhics despite one of them wearing metal armor.

It is done.

Says 49.3 hrs on Record. I had this game for PS3 and PS4 as well. Yes...I have purchased it that meany times.

No... I don't regret a single penny.

Need for speed: Rivals is a Pvp game. Let's get that straight right off the bat. Players can and will attack you on the game. If you simply want to race then play it off line. If you want to race against other players start your own lobby and kick anyone who starts being hostile.

There is no difficulty settings. You basically need to learn where the more aggressive police will be and avoid those areas of the map. Does that mean more aggressive police will simply never show up in starting areas? No. The more Heat you get the harder the game gets. But that is how it is in real life. Get used to it, the game isn't your friend.

This is the PC version. That means people with the intelligence to do so may try to hack the game... and guess what... they have. Kick these people. Block these people. Report them (though I kinda doubt it will matter much). The best thing to do is be the owner of the Lobby so if they appear... you can make them disappear. If you don't own the lobby and they pop up, leave the lobby.

Or do what I do... Play a police officer and HUNT THEM ALL DOWN! I don't not play Pvp often. But I rather enjoy the fight you get in this game.

That being said, I will admit that Racer players have it MUCH harder in this game than Police players.
Which is why I have rules I follow as a police officer.

1. Never teleport. Once you hit the road you stay on the road. You must pick a target and chase them down no matter where they are on the map... no shortcuts.

2. If they racer is heat level 3 or below... let them go. Switch targets and move on. At heat level 4 you can chase them off the road... but no weapons. Gently suggest they head to a safe house or risk losing thier points. Everyone deserve a chance to play the game... but they should never forget this is pvp.

3. Never hunt the same target twice. no matter the case. If you ignore them, wreck them, get wrecked by them, or they escape into a safe house... move on. You must go through the entire list of players. Once you complete the list of players you need to complete a full set of mission goals and Return to the police station. This gives all players the time they need to complete thier own goals while you hunt different players or do your own objectives. Again... everyone deserves a chance to play the game.

4. If you already have a target you must ignore other player hostility. Only your current target matters. If the target is wrecked or escapes... focus your attention on your persuer... AND MAKE THEM REGRET THIER CHOICES. This rule does not apply to players that switch to police officers to attack you. Fellow police officer must never be attack intentionally regardless of their behavior. Ignore them and continue your duties... see if they can keep up.

5. The punishment should fit the crime. Heat level 3 and below is ignored. 4-5 Needs a nudge to the safe house. 6-7 Must be reminded who the police are. 8 and above must be destroyed. Adjust your weapon usage to fit the level of aggression you want to portray.

6.[PC Only] Hackers recieve no remorse. All rules are suspended if you are in a lobby and cannot kick the hacker(s). Protect the community. Only the hackers are targets. Hunt them at all cost. Speed hacking in a racing game is pathetic. Get good or get out. No arrest, no love taps. Weapons free and crush them all.

Here's why i have rules.

Police vs Racers

Police get infinitly recharging Nitros, regardless of how they drive. You can sit still and get 50% nitro back.

Racers have to drive dangerously or at high speeds for Nitro to recharge. You get nothing for free.

Police get FREE fully decked out vehicles with only the need to purchase weaponry. You'll be drowning in upgrades points in no time.

Racers must purchase the vehicle, multiple upgrades, and weaponry.

Police NEVER LOSE POINTS... even if they get wrecked by Racers. They keep everything they accumulate on the road. [which is why I go hunting for hackers... they can wreck me and attack me all they want... I lose nothing... honestly I gain points from being defeated. Giving me more car options to hound them with]

Racers must bring thier points to a safe house to save them or they lose ALL THE POINTS THEY ACCUMULATRED WHILE OUT ON THE ROAD every single time they wreck or get arrested. [Points in the safe house cannot be taken away...so drive, then save, then drive, than save]

Police can call in NPC support to constantly hound Racers.

Racers only get support if another player wants to give it to them.

Yes Police have it good... starting out...

But Racers get more powerful cars. Racer have an AoE Shock wave that can easily knock police off the road. Police Shock wave shoot only from the front of the car. Racers get Faster Cars. They take some points to build... but they out class police if you can handle them. Learn the roads and only the best Police players can keep up with you. NPC will be nothing to you. If the police players have cars that can keep up... those car won't have as much armor... even if they might have better weapons. There is always a draw back for more speed.

Sadly this game has some proformance issues. If your system has any type of difficulty with processing you may run into problem with graphics loading. If you drive faster than the game can be loaded... you will crash... the game. The optimization for this was always wonky and even though this game was on Ps3&4 It ran into similar issues on both.

The Sound track is not that great. There are some nice tracks but in general it feel lack luster and easily gets old. Pc players can substitue the Sound track with youtube of spotify... but imagine having to play this on PS4 and not being able to have you one music. This sound track loses steam fast.

Police game play is fun from beginning to end... Racer play can be annoying starting out as one bad run can set you back on progress. ( losing points) Offline play might be your best option if that happens... but Police can play online from the second they start... you lose no points. Though a griefer/hacker might make getting them tough.

I will always recommend this game. When I play racer... I race and I run! I only have defensive abilities and speed boost. Chase me if you see me I'll be your target anytime. As long as the servers are up and my computer can handle it I will be around. [At the moment my system needs an update and im broke so forgive me for not being online q.q]

EA I hope the next rivals game will be better optimized and just as fun.

This is one of the first gacha games I ever played... YYEEAAAARRSSS AGO.

This game has been out for years... YYYEEEEAAAARRRSSSSSSSSSSSS... Like beginning of World of Warcraft old.

BUT COSMIC BREAK HAS ROBBED HUNDREDS OF PLAYERS OF EVERY ITEM THEY PAID FOR OR PLAYED FOR. I loved playing this game. It can be very fun even in solo. Its a good challenge to navigated the 3D world and see how far you can get in the Rougelike solo battle while picking up power ups.

But it seriously screwed its fan base over.

This game is a blood diamond. Its pretty and it sparkles but the amount of "blood" it has spilled from the community is an ocean.

I remember seeing they had shut the game down.

I remember the disppointment.

I remember that I settled on the idea of it being gone and I wouldn't get to play it anymore.

And I remember them putting it on steam and calling it a NEW GAME.

I thought it was being remade. I thought they would have updated the graphics. I thought they would be something amazing now after all this time...

ITS THE SAME GAME! ONLY NOW... NO BOSY HAS ANYTHING BECAUSE THEY DELETED EVERYONES ITEMS!!!!

If you want to play this... feel free... but these people literally took everything people had spent there time on. They made thier with drawl... don't give them anything else.

I have no idea how bad the community might have been. I don't know what grief may have shown up during the games original run. I personally never had a problem with anyone! Even int he PvP that felt horribly skewed towards paid players. The community seemed great.

But whatever the case... no one deserve to get all thier game time deleted... and then have the devs try to resell it to them by re-releasing the same title.

I want to play this... but I don't want to support someone who would shut a game down, take away everything the players worked for, then put the game back up and expect them to pay again. <- I know this is fact... tell me what the other facts are.

This is a gacha game in it simplest form.

The idea is that some beings [the Left Over Drinks a.k.a LOD's] are attacking the world because they didn't fullfill their purpose [to be a refreshing drink]. The concentration fluid in these LOD's goes bad and becomes waste fluid which the LOD's force other beings to drink. (you've seen the bar maids... you can see where this is going im sure)

Drink Bard Maids, or DBM for short, are the only thing strong enough to fend off a heavy attack. The also have consentration fluid... which is what you use to power your attacks. The DBM doesn't seem to be very popular amongst the military but it is not very clear as to why.

There is also a faction called the Bar hunters whom, i guess, are a special group specifically after the DBM.

There is also a mention of a "Dr. Straw" who is likly some evil mastermind previously encountered by the DBM.

Its determined that there is a traitor among them as there should be no way to communicate with enemy forces or infiltrate the city headquarters from outside.

Okay... there is more story but you folk likely aren't here for that.

Gameplay:
Consist of setting up a 3 female team to fight and fend off an enemy attack for up to 6 turns at the most. Either you win or the girls get r**ed >.>

Yep...

That's about it. You don't really do anything more than that. There are no animations out side of combat flashes and such over still images. You don't choose any attacks, you just read dialog talking about what you or the enemy does. If you will you get a reeward for completing a fight the first time. after that you get a reward every 3 fights. Everything in the fights is determined by the special skills of the DBM you choose to use before hand. Some fights you will most likly lose the first time as you will get some mechanic that you may not have a bar maid for.

There are three types of attacks. Normal Attacks, Waste Gas Attacks, and Capturing Attacks.

Im sure you can guess what normal attacks do but the main thing to note is not all the DBM use the same a mount of energy to attack. You have 6 bars and thus far I believe you can have DBM that use 3 at the most. You regain fluid only 1 time after you expend all of it.
Waste Gas Attacks contaminate your concentration fluid bars. Once you energy refills any waste gas contaminated bars cannot be used. 6 contaminated bars and you lose.
Capture attacks keep you from making any actions for a turn. meaning the enemy gets the advantage in teh battle by getting in a free attack. As most bettle don't really last that long having 1 or two things go bad means you just... lose.

It has good art but you can access that by simply looking in the folder. Combat is not very mind bending cause one you fight an enemy you can basically rinse and repeat that fight with the same three maids and always win. You will need to switch the girls up every so often if you do want to fight something different but there is no point as you don't really gain different rewards from the enemies after you beat them the first time.

The Story is short, the combat gets dull very fast, and the adult scenes consist of random images with dialog over them.
Also its obvious this was made with the RPG maker program as many of the resources can be found inside the folders
but whoever completed this project didn't wish to put in any effort to make it more than what it currently is.

Okay here we go!

Free roam sections.

Free roam areas are a nice touch. I would like more gacha games to have this feature to make it feel like you actually have some physical presence int he world. In general you only have access to freely roam around your room. But you have your MC girl in there as well. As you play through the game and furnish your pad you get into some interesting situation with your new room mate and can walk around a oggle her in her differnt outfits as she lounges on the bed or looks out the window Etc.

All in all its a gacha game. it doesn't feel like you need to spend any money on it though as the characters don't really bring much to this title besides customizable babes. Boob slider not included. You are also given decent amount of free outfits from steam. but just so you know each outfit can only be worn by one girl at a time. if you had an outfit you want all your girls to wear... too bad. there are no sheep in space and finding skimpy dresses fitted with neon lights is hard to find in the cold black abyss of SPAAAACCCCCCCEEEEEE.

Combat
Its simple. You pick when to fight and you let your girl go ham.

But...

If you do happen to be in a fight where you would benefit from more control of your characters... FORGOT IT! Manuel mode is a lie. The only thing you get to do is pick which move you character does. You don't get to choose what the character targets. If I am a commander and I have to tell my soldiers what to do... simply telling them to either "shoot once" Or "shoot a lot" is not gonna cut it. For some characters it doesn't matter. But If you have a healer and you healer won't help the unit that is about to get shot... well too bad for you.

Also Fights seem preprogramed. Many of the battle have the same enemies int he same formation with the same weapons and moves. If you use the same units on these same enemies... you literally will rewatch the same fight you did to the previous group cloned baddies. Same battle order, same attacks, same finish. Doesn't feel very random at all.... which begs the question what else is not random?

Character customization

I Love it! Mainly because if you character is above B rank when you obtain them you can change how they look! Meaning you can litereally clone you main character over top of everyone if you want to. Very inovative idea giving you control over the looks of your characters. but it make me wonder what they sacrficed in order to make this happen. [cough cough clone battles and no combat control]

The Story

I honestly have no idea. I skipped everyone thign this time around. The dialog was translated and it felt... blegh. Luckyly you aren't restricted to how much you can play by some energy restriction so you can keep flowing on through the game.
