I've been working on a mod over the course of MTG that does just that, and I'm thinking releasing it with the next big expansion. It would be renamed, but of course I'll give you the proper due credit. Hope to hear from you.

Never have truer words been spoken. Political correctness is such a toxic concept and ruins everything it touches. Why Adler had to play into I will never know but it is truly foolish.

I honestly would have never expected him to do such a thing over something as trivial as a murder, especially considering the fact that Americans & Europeans are being butchered on a seemingly regular basis by radical Islamists, yet nobody chooses to remove Islamist elements from their mods (an example being Millennium Dawn). The liberal so-called “social justice” is nothing more than a double standard. If Adler wishes to take this morally cowardly route, I’m going to stand in opposition. My friends, I will gladly upload his mods on the workshop for you to enjoy as you should. Albeit, I will do so on a private setting as I still do not wish to publicly upload his content as my own. I will try to do so by tomorrow. I will keep you posted.

I entirely understand. I always use Die SS particularly with every campaign I play. So much so I that I made a personal version that works with Black Ice. I had many discussions with Adler in the past and he had proved, at least to me, to be nothing short of an ambitious, top-tier modder. His work provided a far more immersive expansion into the the game’s military forces of the German Reich. His impressive skill in coding and perfectionist quality in his work is what makes his mods truly desirable. What really impressed me though was his custom coding that allowed for a wide diversification of soldier appearances based upon their specialization and the level of military tech researched. So when he opted to toss all of his work, especially in the way he did in which he deliberately stripped away all of his subscribers of his content via “updating” the mod to include nothing, I was not only shocked but also angered....

You have no idea no idea how many people would appreciate that. I used this mod in pretty much all of my games. So all my saves are now scuffed cause he decided to ruin the mod...

I could do the latter but that still is walking a thin line of ripping Alder’s content off which I’m not too keen on doing. I think I’d rather do the Dropbox method instead. I’m not on my computer at this moment (typing this via the steam phone app) so give me a few hours and I’ll see about getting the mods into a Dropbox this evening.

@Ryman Honestly, I would absolutely love to do so but it isn’t my content to publish. I honestly have no idea what the hell Adler was thinking when he decided to sabotage all of his work and in large part comprise countless saved games of his subscribers because of one incident of murder of the like that happens regularly worldwide. The best I could do is send you the files via a file-sharing platform. All you’d have to do is transfer them into the workshop mod file.

I would love you forever if you made Adlers mods available to us normal human beings who dont want unnecessary censorship of history.

All I did is merely change the unit textures and added the appropriate BICE equipment according to each unit type, as well as modified the combat stats to BICE standards in the mod’s code. Adler was the mastermind behind the genius coding which allowed for the use of completely new unit types separate from all those in game as well as the incredible ability for them & their appearances to evolve with advancement in the tech tree. What I did was comparatively simple compared to the work he did. That being said, he doesn’t tolerate anyone modifying and openly publishing his own masterpieces without him being personally involved first.

Yes, am a great admirer of his work and him and I see almost exactly eye to eye when it comes to modding. He’s got a brilliant eye for what types of content are ideal when it comes to developing a mod and we often discuss such matters. I simply made a BICE-compatible version for my own use because I’m stubborn and refuse to play this game without it. While I did upload it to the workshop, it will strictly remain on private, as the only reason why I did so at all is for my own convenience. I did similarly with a Kaiserreich version in which I overhauled all the skins, even the ss police (renamed “The Imperial Guard”), to fit better into an alternate history German Imperial setting as well as to compliment my current (original) KR reskin pack. Regardless, Adler would not like it one bit for me to distribute his platform.

Could release it as a friends mod only. i can say for sure that we would all like ADLER skins and models in black ice. exuse my tardiness but i'm a bit to lazy to set it up even, and all my friends would prefer a 1 click button[as we are getting used to in this society]

Unfortunately I cannot. It’s author (Adler) takes great pride in his work and likes things to be in accordance to his exceptionally high standards. He would not be pleased with me if I released a version of his mod, especially in the unpolished state that it is.

I stopped updating because I don't enjoy Hearts of Iron 4 , I'm sorry. I played the game for 2500 hours and now I am bored of it. But when the new update comes I might update it.
