An excellent game that mixes intense, fast-paced action with strategic maneuvering and copious amounts of violence, blood, and gore. The level designs are intricate, weapon choices and special abilities are numerous, and the top-down camera aspect serves the game's retro style perfectly. In addition, the music is captivating, as it helps to immerse players in an experience much too morbidly satisfying to pass up. The challenges players face become frustrastingly difficult very early on, but it is nothing that would deter those daring enough to take up arms and shoot, pummel, slice, and smash their way to victory.
