Blasphemers were stoned for many crimes against the law, as given by Moses. But, that was Jews following the law. Christianity believes that a sinner can repent, be born again, and receive the holy spirit regardless of their prior atrocities. Now, as a Christian can one believe that a homosexual can receive the holy spirit and receive eternal salvation? No, not unless that homosexual repent for their sins. A Christian isn't going to stone their neighbor in sin, because we're sinners too, we're more in the habit of praying for others and ourselves.

Both Christianity and Islam have a rule stating along the lines of "A man is to not sleep with another man". You can't be a devote Christian or Muslim while slewping while being a man, sleeping with another man. Homosexuals are known to be stoned through history, if that isn't hate, I'm pretty sure you don't know what hate is.

It's not exactly wise to sum religions up as hating people for their sexual preference.
Christians may not advocate or support sexually alternative lifestyles but it doesn't mean they hate the person involved in sexually alternative life styles.
A good Christian truly believes that all people are worthy of salvation regardless of their sin.
