Episode 1 is a fairly short story about moving into a new apartment after your mother's death and solving a mystery. Game play was very basic, essentially just walking each floor and clicking on any interaction pop-ups and running through the dialogue options. I only saw one thing that might charitably be called a puzzle. But the world itself was interesting and the animation has a slightly unsettling vibe and it gels pretty well. The story ends on a twist-cliffhanger so this is just a taste of it all. I'll probably pick up the remaining four chapter pack on a seasonal sale but there isn't much reason to play Ep 1 if you're not going to follow it up with the rest.
