The original PC version of Ever 17 was the first visual novel I ever experienced growing up and introduced me to what a fantastic visual novel and story truly is. Every visual novel I ended up playing from that point on I always ended up comparing it to Ever 17 and for many years nothing ever came close to it.

To finally have it available officially and easily obtainable now in English is an absolute dream.

However, I will say that yes I can acknowledge that there are issues with this version, and yes, as a long-time fan I can't say I'm a big fan of some of the changes made to the overall script which unfortunately does affect some of the massive reveals dropped on the player late-game that would typically leave players completely mind-blown once they realised what was happening as the overall structure meant you really didn't see them coming at all. These changes do make it more obvious to the player with its foreshadowing earlier on in the game that does take away a bit of the impact once you do finally reach the reveals which is a bit of a shame.

Even with these changes, they've still kept the original 2D character sprite style, the soundtrack is still gorgeous with its more up to date remixes whilst still staying true to the originals and the updated environments help to make it more visually appealing in my opinion. The addition of new cutscenes, scenes and CGs also add new things and give a reason for players such as myself who have played the original countless times, to play this version as well.

I do still think that for new players, especially those that have been wanting to play Ever 17 but never found a good way to, this is still a decent and straightforward way to play the game. It's hard to find the original PC version and for ease, this version is still absolutely fine to play. Performance-wise, I've not had any freezes or crashes which is always a bonus too.

I would still say that for the best overall experience, if you can find the original PC version I would recommend still playing the original first and then playing this updated version if possible. This way players can see both the differences and new content and ultimately make a decision for themselves which version they like better, for what is most likely the most complete experience overall. Visual novel fans, please don't miss out on the absolute gem that is Ever 17!

Whilst not as great as the other entries in the series, Revolution is a decent and entertaining spin-off to the STORM series. There's still a lot of playable characters, some extra content on the Akatsuki and my personal favourite: the Mecha-Naruto storyline as a new addition.
If you've come for the story you'll be disappointed and should instead stick to the main entries in the series, since this is entirely separate and even though the main tournament storyline can get a bit repetitive, overall it's still a fun Naruto game.

Super short but still a beautiful simplistic puzzle game.
Worth the sale price for the experience.

Acting as both a sequel, prequel and delving into more detail to what happened to some of the supporting cast of Corpse Party: Blood Covered, Book of Shadows does what is intends to do: expand on the universe of Corpse Party and the fates of those that entered Heavenly Host. This entry is gorier, probably due to the Visual Novel style, rather than the RPG Maker style of the first game, with improved CGs and the soundtrack creating an equally claustrophobic and scary atmosphere.

Book of Shadows is more enjoyable if you've played the original Corpse Party first which is definitely recommended for the full experience!

As a massive fan of Blazblue, Chronophantasma has so much content it's initially overwhelming. There's so much to do (both single player and multiplayer-wise), the gameplay is insanely fun and solid and the English cast are phenomenal as always. With Stylish Mode, the game is accessible to those who just want to play casually or for newcomers of the series/genre in general. Definitely recommended, especially for fighting game enthusiasts or Blazblue fans.

Excellent sequel and my personal favourite out of all the entries in the series. Danganronpa 2 is fantastic in every way possible: a likeable cast that you can't help but feel attached to, engaging plot & trials that are vastly improved over the original. Plus there's a bunch of extra content to do once the main game is beaten. Considering this is my 3rd time playing it through (previously on Vita & PS4), Goodbye Despair never fails to bore me!

Highly recommended, though you should definitely play the DR games in order for the full experience!

One of the best Horror Visual Novels available. I'd heard so much hype about The Letter and it really didn't disappoint!
