If My Heart Had Wings is a 8/10 Romance Eroge Visual Novel Originally Developed by Pulltop Games. Unfortunately, Moenovel's localisation provided a cut, messy abortion that turned a 8/10 game into a 3/10 4kids friendly VN. With its release on Steam being delayed by 5+ Hours and not being changed for the better, this VN would have been considered bad and be left on the backburner.

However, with a 18+ Restoration Patch, all of the cut content is restored and the re-translation makes If My Heart Has Wings a bearable Romantic Eroge to read.

Most accurate review on this novel. I wouldn't say 8/10 even with the restoration patch but there aren't many big romance VNs that are fully translated, so you should def give it a try. Though you'll have seen most there is to see after literally one route.

Steam obviously OK with violence, nudity, drug use and abuse on female but they aren't too happy with some 2D anime ero games.

Actually, if what you're saying is true, the actual point, as far as a review for a game goes: there is no reason to buy this game on Steam other than for the 'service' / price.

Narcissus: The main point im trying to say is that without restoration patch this VN isn't worth touching at all.

Igni: Restoration Patch works with Steam but it prevent's you from earning achievements. If you want the achievements i'd recommend playing the VN fully with restoration patch then skipping through with the original game (you'll need to uninstall and reinstall it)

So, after paying money for something which is a piece of shit, as a customer I need to use someone else's work, that I did not paid for?
That's a complete contradiction of interests here...In that mindset, I should just throw money at the original, Japanese developer -- and then download the restoration patch+fan translation. If I got what yer saying, I have no reason to buy this from steam, as the product is faulty.. o_0

Sorry for the spelling error.

Whats bad about the VN is that without the restoration patch the quality of the VN is VERY poor due to lack of content, translator's making lines up and writing gibberish into Ageha's Route to ruin it.

With the patch the VN becommes a much better VN than the one Moenovel Localized
