This game has some really good and fast movement. You can slide, jump high while doing some acrobatic roll, run on walls, latch onto walls, jump on cables, glide through the air in slow motion while shooting like some hitman etc. It's like a mix of Mirror's Edge and Mass Effect on nitrousoxide..

Storywise I can't comment too much since I haven't got that far yet, so far it's been average but I haven't gotten to the so called "good parts" yet. I've heard that Warframe has a decent story, a much better story than your average free to play MMORPG.

Now for the negatives...

Personally I do not like the designs of the guns and warframes, a few are ok but nothing really stands out to me and there is a lot of ugly designs in my opinion. You start out with a very "basic" looking warframe and very few colors, you can buy more colors for in game currency but you can't afford it. Not until you've played a couple of hundred hours maybe. You would have to buy colors or skins for real money but that's to be expected from a f2p game. But hey at least you can grind there if you like the game right?

The biggest downside of Warframe by far is the limitations. It's the most unnecessary and irritating thing I've ever come across in an mmorpg. I will never understand why any game developer would implement such a counterproductive element in a grinder game.

The limitations I have encountered so far are:
You can only rank up by passing a test which you can only do once every 24 hours. Level 1-3 have been easy but should you fail you would have to wait a full 24 hours to try again, or if you passed to take the test for the next level. Most of the weapons are locked to certain levels too. So let's say you wanna play with the "Nikana" Sword because your starting gear looks like ♥♥♥♥. "Yeah! Let's grind tonight to level up so you can try the dank gear and look cool." No. it will take you 4 days before you can even buy, trade or craft it. No matter how much you play. The XP does stack though so if you played one day to get enough XP to climb 2 ranks you can do the next "Mastery Rank up test" immediately after the 24h cooldown from the previous test is over.

Next up is the crafting aspect of the game. Crafting takes anything from 1 hour to 24 hours for each item. You seem to be able to craft many things at once though. But this is just another annoying thing with the game which I think is terrible. Especially since it can limit you from making progress in the game. The game is built up on our solar system, you have a couple of places you can go to on each planet and you have to do some tasks on each planet in order to progress and go to the next one and so on. So crafting can be one of these criterias which has halted my progress in the game and basically forced me to play something else while I wait 2 hours, 8 hours or 12 hours for some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to be crafted so the game can let me go to the next planet. It's funny too how the game keeps reminding you to take a break, whenever you have played over 1 hour.

"Sorry sir we are closing the bar now, we have to ask you to leave"

Another negative thing in my opinion is the looting. If you expect a boss to drop some dank loot every now and then like a weapon or something. Don't play this game. The looting is boring as hell. In the start I used to go around the map, open every little container and hidden chest but you only find crafting materials and mods for your warframe or weapon. It's so sad and dissatisfactory.

You can find relics on some missions which are basically like "lootboxes" in cs:go or pubg or any other game that uses them. They are however free to open. You have to do an excavator mission to open them. If you are lucky you will find some part or a blueprint for a weapon or armor.

Playing Warframe makes you feel like you are 12 again and Warframe is your parent telling you to stop playing and go outside.

You dont need to play a couple 100 hours to buy colours, I got my first colour set in 70-80 hours. 75 plat is not hard to get imo.
