Like most of ACE Team's output, The Deadly Tower of Monsters is a case of style and novelty over substance. That said, if you have any nostalgia for or ironic appreciation of old 1950s b-movies and creature features you'll feel right at home amongst the plastic trees, stop-motion dinosaurs, and nukular ants.

If you read the title and looked at the store page you've basically already experienced all the entertainmnt that this game has to offer.

Thanks to cutting-edge VR technology you can now experience walking along the beach and reading fortune cookie fortunes from the comfort of your own home.

At its core it's a decent adventure game but the interface and lack of respect for the player's time drags it down; it takes several seconds of delay between clicking on something and having the descriptive text drop down, the walk speed is atrocious, and every puzzle requires several screens of backtracking.

A really surprising little gem. Gemini is a first-person game with light stealth elements where you get by entirely using your telekinesis to kill guards in interesting ways, coupled with a time travel gimmick where you can dynamically switch between the past and present versions of the location you're in for some light puzzles and platforming. It even has a couple of satisfying boss battles.

It's only about three hours long but there's no real filler so it's fun while it lasts and doesn't outstay its welcome.

If this was a free flash game on Kongregate it would be mediocre, lol at the idea of actually paying money for it.

I beat this game in like 20 minutes and the only actual gameplay aside from using keys on doors was punching in two number codes, one jump scare, and one word code. It's not scary and it doesn't even have story going for it because it bills itself as "episode 1" but it's been over six months since the game came out and there's been no updates from the developers.

This is a game where you get naked in the first ten seconds and get raped in the first five minutes. Really that's all that needs to be said.

You'd think that a game about playing a blind person would have amazing sound design that you could use to navigate by. Or, at least, any kind of sound. But nope, the entire game is just mashing WASD and Space in dead silence save for the stock sound effect ticking off each task as you randomly stumble over it.

A complete waste of an interesting premise.
