When i first started playing this game there was just something about it that was truly beautiful its very obvious that the developers put lots of care and passion into this game with gameplay that just feels fun and a story that is hidden beneath the surface. Bad rats is great at making the player feel emotions as when I first started this game i only had one thought, damn these rats are bad and then I started to cry. I cried because the gameplay and the music were just so well put together it was like nothing I have ever seen before.

This game has a hidden story that many people will think that it speaks about society and how these bad rats are viewed as rebels or scoundrels. However this game is actually telling a story about Harriet Tubman and the underground railroad. For generations the rats were enslaved by the cats in a truly awful way, but one day a rat by the name of Benson T. Fredrickson was able to escape death row and taking control of his master Seargent Scritcy Scratchy, Benson was able to open his eyes and see how the things that they were doing was awful. Benson and Scritchy Scratchy started an alliance and vowed to get all rats out of enslavement, thus they started making an underground railroad in the sewer system, a place where cats dared to go.

Almost nine months later Benson and Scritchy Scratchy were finally done the underground railroad, The two friends then went back up to the surface and started work on sneaking out all the rats. This went smoothly for a good while but as predicted the cats soon caught on to the plan and began to suspect that there was something going on. The cats increased security on the Rats and Benson and Scritchy scratchy only had one thing left to do. Start a revolution.

Benson and Scritchy Scratchy snuck in to where most of the rats were being held and informed the rats of the plan. The next morning the rats started rioting against the evil clutches of the cat folk. Under the command of Benson and the power of Scritchy Scratchy the rats were able to overpower the masses of cats forcing them to retreat to a place that they would never go, the sewers. Benson and Scritchy scratchy have been taking torture devices from the cats and hiding them in the sewers, little did they know they would be able to use them against the cats.

That is where this game starts off, The player plays as a group of Rebel rats who have to show the cats just what they have been through, the strategy in this game is quite difficult as to show the struggle of the rats who are trying to fight for their freedom and be seen as equal to the cat folk.

The Davismister was a curious and adventurous young man who had always been fascinated by the beauty of the night sky. He had spent countless hours gazing up at the stars and dreaming of one day achieving the elusive "Davis moment," a moment of pure clarity and understanding that was said to come to those who were able to truly appreciate the majesty of the universe. One day, the Davismister decided that he could wait no longer. He packed a small bag with supplies and set out on a journey to find the emerald night, a place where the stars shone with a brilliant green light that was said to be the key to achieving the Davis moment.

In George Orewell’s 1984 Big Brother is never physically present or seen by Winston. Although it is assumed that Big Brother likely does not exist, he has a major presence in the book and affects every character in the novel. Big Brother affects Winston Smith as well as the general populace of London/Airstrip One by confusing the population with propaganda, fake wars, and hatred, and when the people of London are psychologically broken, Big Brother is the person they ultimately fall back on.

Big Brother likely does not exist but he is used for the general population to direct their confused people toward nationalism. The Inner Pparty bombards the people of London with propaganda and surveillance, so even for a person like Winston who hates Big Brother, he is unable to voice his thoughts and opinions to anyone because of the fear of getting vaporized. When this paranoia is combined with the overwhelming nationalist propaganda, the general population is left in an overall state of confusion. The result of this confusion is that the people of Oceania cannot differentiate between the false statistics and and the real ones, and it becomes too hard for them to think on their own. The fake wars also play into this propaganda campaign because they direct the general public’s hatred towards Emmanuel Goldstein and those like him and, more importantly, direct their anger away from Big Brother and Oceania’s living conditions.

When the general population finds it too hard to think on their own and where to draw the line between fake and real, they eventually fall back on Big Brother and they believe everything. Big Brother's effect on people as well as living in this kind of society showcases the theme of 1984 by making Winston a person that the reader can relate to. This makes it all the more shocking when he too falls back on Big Brother and succumbs to the Party’s beliefs. Orwell does this to show that the unquestioning belief in a Big Brother- like object or leader will inevitably result in a totalitarian society like the one in the novel; the takeaway from this novel is that the only thing stopping 1984 from becoming reality is to have your own personal thoughts and opinions about the government.

Orwell uses Big Brother to show that society is never far from becoming a totalitarian dystopian society and how the use of propaganda, false information, and a Big Brother to fall back on. He shows that these few overbearing things are the only differences between our society and 1984’s and how freethought can go a long way to prevent this from happening.
