A wonderful game for those that have a lot of time on their hands. Even if you don't, you can still make full use of that time if you plan ahead. With that time, you take control of your warframe from over their shoulder, letting you actually see your customizations when you make them. [Hooray for third person!] From that warframe, you go against four different factions as a 'guardian of balance', led by the Lotus. And with a vast array of weapons to help you shoot, slash, blow up, crush, and knock away all of your opponents, you won't have a dull moment when in combat.

Speaking of combat, there are several game modes that require a multitude of tactics to keep you entertained. From rushing between defense points while being surrounded to being a sneaky ninja and steal all of their base's information. Even going after the head honchos to assassinate them. If that bores you, take to the skies with the archwing, or go deep into the heart of enemy territory in their raid missions. The choice is yours.

Yes. This is a microtransaction game. You will be tempted to get the in-game currency; platinum. Some like to outright buy the things instead of crafting them [which does take time]. However, if you don't mind waiting to build stuff while you are away from your computer or leveling other things, feel free to not empty your wallet. The only useful things to buy with platinum [you are actually given 75 to start with]. are item slows for weapons and warframe slots. Maybe an accessory you like or a color pack for customizations. But avoid getting things right off the bat to have them, it does ruin the gameplay.
