This game stands out from other Hero Shooters in a few key areas.

1. Its a 6v6 rather than 5v5
   
2. Destructible Environment
   
3. Some Heroes can scale walls & permanently fly
   
4. The Ability to switch characters in game
   
5. The Ability to look at everyones individual highlights rather than just the play of the game
   
6. Actual Team Synergies that change how Heroes can interact and work together
   
7. It's 3rd Person perspective
   
8. You immediately have access to the whole roster

Those are the draws of this game that make it stand out. However, I've only played Paladins and I tried Overwatch but didn't really like it. So, I'm no expert or anything, but, the 2 big things I've noticed is the TTK is a lot faster then Paladins (but the healing is a lot more oppressive) and that is cuz Paladins had that MOBA system of like in game perks that you can buy. That and the speed to get back into the fight is a lot slower cuz the movement speed is pretty slow (on some characters) So, maybe give you like 1-2s movement speed buff or something to help you get back. That wasn't a problem in Paladins cuz they had mounts but overall this game rocks so far and would recommend it cuz its free. One big downside is the game has crashed on me already 4 times (I stopped counting but if it wasn't crashing it would be a BIG recommendation)

Aside from the crashing the biggest downsides are not giving you any indication of teammates status and their health, when they die, how long it takes to respawn. Paladins put all that info on the top of the screen and on the scoreboard. Also, iirc the health bars were more or less always above the heads of enemies.

I don't know if it's due to the holidays or if they're doing stuff in the background but it has been lagging a lot today like every match hopefully it doesn't remain like this. I haven't crashed though since the last update.

UPDATE (12/10/2025)
it remained like that for about a week and a half but its better for me now with only very minor occasional lagging. Which is still worse then my launch experience but the new updates out and we'll see if it's completely fixed now.

Crashing on launch now and if I manage to get in the game if I hover over a hero then it crashes too updated drivers and it fixed
