Initial impressions are good! I've had a good bit of fun so far and I look forward to playing more! It's easy to tell the developers had an appreciation for the series and it shows. Overall, some minor things could still use some polish, most noticeably to me in the sound design. The music can be a bit tonally jarring at times, and various weapon sounds could use a bit more impact. Otherwise, the voice acting is well done and the dialogue isn't too over the top. I've heard complaints of low player counts already but I've had no trouble finding a lobby, usually in just a few seconds. Graphically the game looks great as well! We'll have to see how the game is doing in a few months, but for now its a great buy!

This was an incredible experience. If you are a fan of puzzle/platformers with a focus on environmental storytelling and ambience, this is for you. The soundtrack in amazing as well. Don't read or watch too much about this, just jump in.

Having just completed my first playthrough of Inside, by studio PlayDead, I feel that right now is the best time to write this review.

This game is truly disturbing. It is deeply unsettling. If you have played through PlayDead's other title, Limbo, you will feel right at home. The developer has outdone themselves and captured the essence of what made Limbo so engaging.

Play this game. Go in knowing as little about it as possible. I recommend you play alone, when you have 3-4 hours of uninterrupted time on your hands in a quiet space. Give this game your full attention and just play.
