The cosmetics look great, but cheaters.
The gameplay is so much fun, but cheaters.
The maps are very fun with a few exceptions, but cheaters.
Anyways this game was so much fun ,until cheaters were everywhere,if they do something about this,or if they get bored
this game can be a lot of fun again.
Until then,its not worth it 20 euros anymore

Just started playing seems like a pretty cool fps. You will also learn Russian,In case you decide to try CSGO please
add those words to your vocabulary,it is certain you will need them:

the rest is easy,you will get the hang of the game pretty quick.

Edit: this review was first submitted in 2015 as a positive review, after valve removed csgo and replaced it with cs2, i wanted to give them time to see if the game will get at an acceptable level gameplaywise, it still has not, so after 9 years im changing my review to negative, when the game is ready to play i will change it back

p.s the game (cs2) has improved since it's release but its still way behind what csgo was.

Update September 2026: Gameplaywise, the game is in a much better spot than it was.
Still not as responsive as 128tick csgo,(its only fine if you enable predictions, but its so inconsistent its not usable for people like me on 38 ping) but in a better state than previously, the animations have also improved a lot.
Unfortunately i also have to report that the game is now full of bots(deathmatch servers etc) and cheaters,(premier/matchmaking) so,even though the gameplay has overall improved,if u dont play faceit at the moment the game is in a mostly unplayable state. The Review stays negative for now, i hope next update i will be able to change it to positive...

To be fair,the more i grow older the more i miss it,Unreal Tournament will always be one of the fastest-boldest fps games out there,its totally worth it your time,just be prepared to get stomped during your first steps in the game,because there is a LOT of skill involved into this game....
