Maybe with a controller it's okay, but as a keyboard+mouse user the controls are in no way acceptable. Felt horrible to a point of making the game nearly not playable.

tldr - skip this one, at least for a few months.

This launch is probably the biggest technical mess I have experienced, I cannot think of one that has done a worse job with causing technical issues. Outriders is hard crashing/rebooting my system, which has more than enough hardware to run it on recommended settings. In the crash process, it resets and changes my Steam settings and even uninstalled the anti-cheat which was really weird. As a result, it looks like I have played this for 3 hours, when all but about 10minutes of that was counted during crashes.

Squaresoft technical support is doing a horrible job and just sends the same form letter requesting the same information provided to them multiple times. I provided detailed explanations of steps I have used, which include all of their suggested fixes (which is basically the suggestions found in their Reddit megathread), but their tech support does nothing but sent a templated letter out.

And yes, server complaints are valid. A game requiring servers is for single player is just not good design and should have been kept out. I can forgive games with pure multiplayer having server issues during the first few days, but not games allowing single player mode.
