"Mother bird of six little ones,
They cry for food.
My, they were so hungry,
that they tried to eat each other.

Mother bird is ravenous as well,
for she ate the seventh baby.
December snow froze the children cold,
and mother knew,
they would not live very long.
She had to feed them.

Mother flaps her wings,
then she is off.
Soaring through the air for hours.
Once she collects enough worms,
She is thrilled to see her babies again.

Little did she know,
that the children went out to play.
They stoned the nest down
and stomped on all of her offspring.

She cries out,
Those damned kids!
She will take her vengeance,
and make sure he feels her pain.

Mother waits years.
She has new offspring,
but her vendetta will never cease.

Once the boy has children of his own,
she strikes action.
With her beak,
Mother picks each of his kid’s eyes out.

one by one by one.

She nibbles on their brains,
and nips chunks of flesh into her mouth.

Mother wishes her children would have gotten to eat this good."
