While the game has had some frustrating bugs at the start of early access, many of them have been resolved with updates, and the road map looks interesting for the future (Moon mining this week!?). As of August 10th there were still some issues with the repairing, and a couple devices had trouble connecting properly to ships, but otherwise it seemed pretty good to me.

Overall the game is pretty "bare bones" in terms of stuff you do with your ship out in space, and lots of content needs to be added, but the basic ship building and designing stuff has been enough to keep me going for a surprising number of hours already. Once in a while I pop out to mine and test my upgrades and YOLOL code, return to station to sell some ore, and then I go right back to doing more modifications and YOLOL code again, for hours if not days.

Building and designing ships is very complicated, but powerful, and it's really recommended to check out some youtube videos before getting into it as they have helpful tips to avoid wasting time doing unnecessary things.

Staff have been very helpful with bugs too. I use F1 to report bugs and issues I've had frequently and they've been good about replacing things that were lost. New players will most likely not have any of those initial bugs or issues I did as they would be fixed by now.
