Torchlight: Infinite is a free-to-play action RPG that has quickly become one of my favorite games among the series (especially after bad experience with Torchlight 3). From the moment I started playing, I was hooked on the fast-paced combat, deep character build customization, engaging storyline and most important "progression".

First and foremost, the combat in Torchlight Infinite is incredibly satisfying. Whether you're playing as a warrior, mage, or rogue, each class has a unique set of abilities and playstyle that keeps the combat fresh and exciting (as you can make Warrior a semi-mage and vice-versa). The game also features a variety of enemies, from hordes of skeletons to towering bosses, that require different strategies to defeat & with a wide range of weapons and armor (sadly doesn't change appearance, u can do so with buying corresponding skin from the shop) to choose from, you can customize your character build to fit your playstyle perfectly.

But Torchlight Infinite isn't just about combat. The game also has a rich story that kept me engaged from start to finish. The world of Torchlight is full of lore and history, and the game does an excellent job of weaving it all together into a cohesive narrative. I found myself invested in the fate of the characters and eager to uncover the secrets of the world.

Now let’s move on to the disappointing facts, games is f2p and yes it comes with microtransactions such as battle-pass, monthly pass, top-up systems and gacha elements. Yes, you can play without any of it, but you’ll find yourself in the struggle in a very late game (30+ hours deep) and more, where you gonna chase dps numbers counting at billions, which require specific build with specific recruits which you can get only from gacha (and that’s gonna be the mostfrustrating fact), and another disappointing factor, some cool looking characters are hidden behind paywall (u can grind for one, but it’s gonna be a long road to unlock all of them), other elements for real-curency is pure cosmetic, which don’t give you any advantage in combat.

There’s no co-op and no pvp which may be the devastatic factor for most of players, but if you’re a Lonewolf who just wanna grind your own ultimate warrior, game is a perfect match for you!

Overall, I can recommend Torchlight: Infinite for those who’re power hungry to sunk their time in developing the dream character. It's a fantastic free-to-play action RPG that offers hours of engaging gameplay, deep character customization, and an immersive story. Whether you're a fan of the genre or just looking for a fun new game to play, Torchlight Infinite is definitely worth checking out.
